I must admit that I took advantage of this free meal from KFC and probably will again tomorrow. (I'm a student so whatever) But it was quite ridiculous in there today around lunch.  Line was crazy, people were crazy, everything was chaotic. I saw at least 30 people I know from the yard (school yard), it was almost like we were at cookout after the club, but not as many "Capris' sittin on blades".  If you haven't heard about it, there is a promotion going on apparently inspired by Oprah where you get 2 pieces of that new, very tasty grilled chicken, 2 sides, and a biscuit for free with this coupon .  Yes it's very real, and very good.  The only thing is, I don't think people are still gonna go to KFC after the coupons expire on May 19th, but I'm no fast food consumption expert. Anyway...ENJOY!!

p.s. you have to print the coupons out!! no photo copying or they won't except them!!! I saw someone get played waaay too hard today and while it was funny, I wouldn't want anyone that follows my site to get embarrassed. haha...good day!

Drink Special--"Limonhead"

Since it's warming up a bit, me and my homie Tony decided to come thru with a new drink special. It's a frozen drink, and even though it was made more for the enjoyment of the young ladies that come thru, it's still crazy good and can be enjoyed by anyone. Basically all you need is a can of "minutemade frozen lemonade", a bottle of "Simply Lemonade", ice, a blender, and the lemon flavored vodka of your choice [I prefer something smoother like Skyy or Ciroc, but choose whatever suites you]. Each can of frozen lemonade will make about a gallon so check the size of your blender to see how much you need. There are no real measurements when making a batch of "limonhead", after adding the frozen lemonade you add the other ingredients to your liking. We made a few batches and used more, or less liquor as suggested by the guests. The "Simply Lemonade" gives it a richer, more authentic taste as well as disguises the potency of the drink. Overall we had not one complaint about the drink and ran out of it halfway through the night. It was even discribed as "crack" by one of my homegirls from pasedena. With the temp rising and "socials" heating up, it's essential that you GET ON THIS DRINK!!!

--I have always adamantly believed that a women will be with a man, hoping he has the potential to change into what she wants him to be--while a man will be with a women hoping that she NEVER changes.

That man usually never fully "evolves" into that specimen that the women feels he has the potential to become. Her "knight in shining armor". Her "Prince Charming". If his circle of friends includes a healthy amount of females, are you EVER right for asking him to dismiss them? You two being together does not make his circle smaller...you are an ADDITION. Embrace his friends, male and female alike.

I like to feel that I am growing as a man. Emotionally, mentally, and financially--purposely in that order. I understand that naturally my habits and reactions will change. I'm growing smarter with my money. I have more respect for "love". But essentially, my character traits have already developed by 22. I understand that I'm nonchalant. I understand I can be obstinate. I know that I have a hard time expressing myself emotionally. Those are traits you grow into, not out of. That probably won't change about me. Nor will they change about the "potential" man of your dreams. Understand that. I'm better than I was yesterday and tomorrow I will continue to improve--nonetheless--I am who I was when you met me. feel me.

Wayne Ellington Player of the Tourney, Tywon Lawson playing some of the best basketball of his career at UNC, Tyler Hansbrough finished his career like he was suppose to WITH A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Overall, North Carolina dominated every matchup on the floor in pretty much every way. The Tar Heels were a unanimous No. 1 in the preseason and became the first UNC team to start and finish at No. 1 since 1982. I said it once and I will say it again... The TARHEElS are THE best team and they proved it.

"The Brown Bomber" is something I created at one of our latest kickbacks. It's in the "bomb" family of drinks obviously. You're gonna need a bottle of Patron XO cafe', and at least one can of rockstar "roasted" energy drink(I prefer mocha). Pour a shot of the patron into a shot glass and pour the height of the shot glass worth of rockstar into a larger cup. When you're ready, drop or "bomb" the shot of patron into the rockstar and CHUG!!! Experience the greatness! I have officially put you on to the Brown Bomber and you are officially what's poppin'!

I used to sleep when I was younger...

I used to sleep when I was younger. It's crazy how I hardly sleep at all now. I'm sitting here at 435 in the morning tryna find a motive. Trying to think and see what I've been missing. What's eating my sleep. Not money...I got that. Not family...I love mine. Not friends...I have the best of those. Could it be a female I'm missing??? That was my first guess but then I got 3 texts from 3 girls that made me realize that's not it at all. I often tell young ladies, "I don't sleep good alone", when I stay over to make them feel special. But the truth is...I'm up all night either way. You give me NO COMFORT whatsoever...oh shout out to HER by the way. My only guess would be I don't sleep because...well...my foolish pride. I'm afraid the world will do just fine while I'm dormant. Maybe I'm NOT that important. But if I don't sleep, I'll never have to face that reality. Before I can sleep I ask myself a million and one questions. What could I be doing instead? what am I going to miss? who's gonna need me? when I wake up am I just supposed to pick up from where I ended yesterday? or is sleep like a reset button where you start over again from the top? The little sleep I get is because I'd die without it...not because I'm dying to get it. Maybe there's really something behind this...or maybe I'm just rambling because it's 5 in the morning and I need some sleep...

The importance of Going to Class...

I woke up this morning with all intentions of going to class. Did the usual routine, and made my way to the yard. As I was driving I had a thought in my head that a test was going to be waiting on me as I walked into my 9:30 class. SHO NUFF!! as soon as I walked into class the teacher greets me with a scantron and a test worksheet. Lets just say I took the test and I made it out........... DUKE vs UNC..

GO HEELS!! The North Carolina Tar Heels did it again!! 79- 71.. The tar heels walked off the court after their final home game at North Carolina celebrating another Atlantic Coast Conference championship and another win against Duke. It was also Senior Night in the dean dome. 7 seniors made their farewell speeches. This is the second Sweep of there careers at UNC. Next up for the Tar Heels is the ACC Tourney. Coming back to defend their title as Champs. The tar heels are projected to be a #1 Seed. The tourney starts March 12.

Some Speculations Might Be True...

Well folks...I was home some for my spring break and I since I don't really go out at all when I'm home, I made some attempts to do so over this past weekend. Out of those attempts, I witnessed 3! pretty intense fights. That's crazy right?!?! People just don't know how to just chill and have fun anymore without starting some sh!*. Some of us still do tho. That just goes to show you that you have to really have to be aware of things and know where you're going. Be cool out there...and stay safe

I gave this post that title because, where I'm from, my city gets a lot of bad looks due to the violence that occurs there. I guess it's because I'm from there that I don't really notice how crazy and out of hand things can get...besides the fact that I hear it all the time and every time I tell someone where I'm from I get the "Oh damn...I heard a lot of bad things about that city" look LOL.
